Marina Calzada is a licensed Health and Life Plan Advisor. She has been licensed in the state of California since 2010 and has recently obtained licensure in both Arizona and Nevada. She is the sole owner of Aura Health Insurance Services, a company that employs health and life plan advisors to assist the community with their insurance needs.
Marina first began her journey as a Health and Life Plan Advisor after leaving her position as a Treatment Plan Coordinator in the dental field. She aspired to have a career that gave her more fulfillment and allowed her the flexibility to spend more time with her family. As a Health and Life Plan Advisor, she found that she could give back to an underserved community and provide opportunities for many to receive assistance. She learned the ins and outs of health insurance plans to be the best equipped to aid the senior community. Becoming contracted with over ten insurance companies allowed her to offer all plans to the community while being able to assist in selecting which would be a best fit. Marina fully jumped into her new career to provide the upmost honest and informative assistance to the senior community. Marina’s passion for serving others was being achieved because she did not just help members select a plan, she guided and supported them throughout their entire journey. She ensures that they fully understand every process and continues to be of assistance even after they have selected a plan. She does quarterly check ins with her members to guarantee that they are still satisfied with their benefits and will provide updates if any are needed. She aspires to be the most supportive agent that has only pleased members. She is the epitome of a trusted agent for a lifetime of care.
On her off time, Marina is a mother of four daughters and a world traveler. Her favorite travel buddies are her 11-year-old mermaid daughter and her adventurous, foodie husband. She loves to see new sights and experience new cultures. If she is not working or in a different zip code, Marina is probably lounging under the sun reading a new autobiography or tending to her garden.
